Formas Verbales Activas y Pasivas


Las oraciones pueden ser de forma activa o pasiva. Por lo tanto, los tiempos también poseen "formas activas" y " formas pasivas”. Es relevante que aprendas a reconocer la diferencia entre ellas para hablar Inglés con éxito.

Forma Activa

En las oraciones activas,el ejecutor de la acción es el sujeto de la oración y el receptor de la acción es el objeto. La mayoría de las oraciones son activas.

[Ejecutor de la acción] + [verbo] + [receptor de la acción]

Forma Pasiva

En las oraciones pasivas, el receptor de la acción es el sujeto de la oración y el ejecutor de la acción puede ser opcionalmente incluído cerca del final de la oración. Puedes utilizar la forma pasiva si crees que el receptor de la acción es más importante o merece ser destacado. También puedes utilizar la forma pasiva si no sabes quien realiza la acción o si no deseas mencionar al ejecutor de la acción.

[Receptor de la acción] + [be] + [verbo en past participle] + [by] + [Ejecutor de la acción]
